Stress activates cortisol, which then activates insulin. Do what you can to change your environment to reduce stress. However, many people do not realize that the stress that impacts cortisol the most is losses. Injuries and surgeries also put your body through major stress. Vitamin B1 ( in nutritional yeast) will help you feel stress-free.
